Make a Deal With Your Desire
Your desire only wants the best for you. Yet, desire seems to cause problems. It can smash our carefully crafted plans and reveal embarrassing secrets we’ve tried our whole life to conceal. Like that time you finish law school to realize you really want to be a baker, or when you’re attracted to a married coworker.
We needn’t ACT on all our desires. Some are best left alone. However, I’ve found desires always point to something important about who we are and what we really want. If we want a life of fulfillment, desire is worth paying attention to.
